The Panama City Pirates finish their first season in the Southeast Division of the United Soccer League's PDL with a winning record of 7-6-3.  To the relief of Coach Elliott and many Pirates Fans, the team went on a tear winning 7 of their last 10 games and making it very interesting by creating a chance to sneak into the playoffs.  The Pirates owner Laird Hitchcock was more than pleased with the lads first year efforts, "I don' t know if anyone expected our guys to do what they did this year...  We got off to a slow start but caught on fire in June.  I couldn't be happier with the group that has made history with this team and that has set the bar high for future players."
